Epigraph Creative Consulting is owned and operated by Ursula Wheeler, who has been editing professionally since 2014. She spent nine years on the staff of the MacArthur Foundation, writing case studies, retrospectives, and other internal and external documents across multiple teams. Her other editing experience includes white papers, fiction, scholarly publications, and textbook materials. She was a co-author of Matrimonium, a newsletter about marriage and culture. Although she is most loyal to the Chicago Manual of Style, she also has experience in APA and AP.

Ursula holds an M.A. in writing and publishing from DePaul University and a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago Graham School. She lives in Chicago.
