Editing

Whether you want proofreading, copyediting, or a full developmental edit, your manuscript is in good hands with Epigraph. I specialize in fiction, business writing, scholarly publications, and general nonfiction, and I’m trained in the Chicago Manual of Style.

My editorial philosophy is about enhancing your unique voice, not matching it to anyone else’s. I believe in clearly communicating my edits and the reasons behind them, and developing a true partnership with you that will allow your words to shine. And, I’m a real human editor–I don’t use AI in my work.

Resumes

I offer resume consultations and redesigns on a sliding scale. Everyone deserves a professional resume; tell me what you can afford, and we’ll work it out together.

Standard rates are as follows:

  • Basic consultation: $100. This includes a resume review and thoughtful, detailed recommendations for improvements that you can make on your own.
  • Consultation and basic edit: $175. This includes everything in the basic consultation, plus editing and formatting.
  • Full redesign: $300. This process includes a brief interview to understand your career goals and work history and a full redesign of your resume.

Writing, Content Development, and Project Management

I’ve been in the nonprofit space for nearly fifteen years, and have a wealth of experience in writing for various audiences, developing and presenting PowerPoints, and seeing complex, multi-year projects through from that first spark of an idea to the tail end. I’m a generalist, with a strong curiosity and ability to figure out what needs to happen to get the job done. A colleague once called me “unflappable,” which is one of my favorite compliments of all time.
